Ms. Herold joined the Employment Law Practice Group at McCormick Barstow LLP in 2026.
Sara A. Herold
In 2026, Ms. Herold joined McCormick Barstow’s Labor/Employment Law Group. She previously practiced Workers’ Compensation Insurance Defense, as well as, Criminal Defense in the Bay Area. Ms. Herold has broad experience in drafting motions and briefs analyzing complex legal issues. She is skilled in conducting civil litigation, having prior bench trial experience, as well as, experience working closely with clients from both the private and public sector to develop case strategy.
While in law school, Ms. Herold interned for Bayview Hunters Point Community Legal, as well as, the Marin County Public Defender’s Office.
Ms. Herold is admitted to practice before all California State Courts.
Ms. Herold received her B.A. in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University and her J.D. degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law. While in law school Ms. Herold participated in Moot Court Board, as well as, the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Clinic.
Ms. Herold represents private companies and public entities with a focus on labor and employment matters under both state and federal law.
Ms. Herold is a member of the State Bar of California.
