Ms. Varni joined McCormick Barstow as an attorney in 2018, after previously serving as a Summer Associate with the firm in 2017.
Ms. Varni has significant experience representing public entities and private clients in complex and high-stakes litigation matters. Her experience includes defending government entities in claims involving negligence, sexual abuse, premises liability, discrimination, and wrongful termination. Ms. Varni also handles trust, probate, and construction defect litigation matters.
Ms. Varni takes a strategic, practical, and results-oriented approach to litigation, with a focus on understanding each client’s objectives and developing effective strategies tailored to the circumstances of each matter. Her experience handling complex and sensitive disputes enables her to provide thoughtful counsel and strong advocacy throughout every stage of litigation, from the initial evaluation of a claim through resolution and trial.
Ms. Varni is admitted to practice before all California State Courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.
