Mr. Cortez joined McCormick Barstow LLP in 2021 as a member of the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation practice group.

Mr. Cortez was a member of his law school’s Insurance Law Clinic, where he assisted clients by facilitating communication with insurers and resolving coverage concerns. While in law school, he also worked as research assistant focusing on business law matters, participated on the Intellectual Property Moot Court team, and spent a summer working at the Office of the Attorney General of Texas.
