Fresno

Employment Litigation (3+ years of experience)

The Employment Litigation Practice Group at our Fresno office is actively seeking attorneys with 3 plus years practicing in labor and employment law. Experience with wage and hour class actions and PAGA is preferred.

Business Litigation (3+ years of experience)

The Business Litigation Practice Group at our Fresno office is actively hiring associates with 3 or more years’ experience.

Family Law (5+ years of experience)

McCormick Barstow’s Fresno Office is actively hiring associates with 5+ years of experience for the Family Law practice group.  Strong research and writing skills and a willingness to take a lead role in handling cases, meeting with clients and making court appearances is necessary. While Family Law experience is preferred, it is not required.

Professional Liability (2-5 years of experience)

McCormick Barstow’s Fresno Office is actively hiring associates with 2-5 years of experience for its Professional Liability practice group.  While not required, the ideal candidate will have experience representing professionals such as doctors, accountants and attorneys against malpractice claims.

Insurance Defense (2-7 years of experience)

Modesto

McCormick Barstow, a nationwide law firm, is seeking an attorney to join our Modesto office. In this role, you will:

• Provide legal counsel to existing clients.
• Conduct legal research and draft/review documents, motions, etc.

• Take and defend depositions.

• Perform due diligence on contracts, agreements, and other legal matters.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with legal software tools for research and document management.
• Two to five years of experience.

Las Vegas

Litigation Defense (2+ years of experience)

McCormick Barstow’s Las Vegas Office has a need for associates with 2 or more years of experience handling civil litigation, including court appearances, depositions, and written discovery.  Excellent academic credentials, exceptional writing skills and strong interpersonal skills are a must. Must be a member of the Nevada State Bar.

Cincinnati

McCormick Barstow, LLP has an opportunity for an attorney in our Cincinnati, Ohio office.  The position can be remote.  The Cincinnati office, coupled with other lawyers in the firm’s different offices, works in the third-party insurance coverage and extra-contractual space.  Candidates with three or more years of coverage and extra-contractual experience or a two-year federal clerkship are preferred.  The nature of the work requires strong research and writing skills, and an interest to develop these skills.

All Locations 

McCormick Barstow has a need for attorneys at all levels to become part of our bad faith litigation and insurance coverage team.  While not necessarily required, the ideal candidate will have experience preparing coverage opinions dealing with liability and property coverages. Experience litigating coverage and bad faith matters, such as appearing in court, preparing discovery and dispositive motions, and attending depositions, is helpful, but not required.
