Mr. Cortney joined McCormick Barstow’s Las Vegas office in 2022. He concentrates in Bad Faith Litigation and Insurance Coverage.
Sean E. Cortney
Mr. Cortney started as an Associate with McCormick Barstow in September 2022. During law school, he clerked for the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Western District of Missouri and for the Minnesota State Appellate Public Defender’s Office.
Before attending law school, Mr. Cortney received a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct historical research in Hunan Province, China. He also worked with the UNLV Office of International Programs, assisting students interested in studying abroad.
