Ms. Xiong-Vang currently focuses her practice in Immigration, Civil Litigation, and Family Law. Ms. Xiong-Vang’s Immigration practice has allowed her to reunite families, help survivors of war seek and obtain asylum in the United States, assist individuals obtain lawful status in the United States, and help others achieve the ultimate goal of obtaining U.S. Citizenship. Her Civil Litigation practice has primarily focused on defense litigation. However, she has clients in all areas of civil defense matters as both Plaintiff and Defendant.
Further, Ms. Xiong-Vang also has extensive experience in representing clients in Family Law matter, including child custody and visitation, child support and spousal support, divorce, annulment, and division of retirement and property division. She began her legal career as an Equal Justice Works Fellow, where she implemented and managed a medical-legal clinic providing legal representation to victims of domestic violence with Family Law matters.
Prior to joining the McCormick Barstow LLP team, Ms. Xiong-Vang represented clients in both civil and criminal courts. She has experience in the areas of Immigration, Civil Litigation, Family Law, Guardianship, Debtor Bankruptcy, Criminal Defense, and Social Security Disability.

Ms. Xiong-Vang has served on the Board of Directors for Fresno County Women Lawyers, Central California Forum on Refugee Affairs, Fresno Center for New Americans, Central California School of Pharmacy and the advisory Board of the Xiong of Fresno County. She is also a member of the Fresno County Bar Association, and Fresno County Bar Pro Bono Services Section.
Ms. Xiong-Vang was selected for inclusion in the Northern California Super Lawyers list (2016-2021) for her primary practice area of Immigration Law. In addition, Ms. Xiong-Vang received the VIP (Volunteers in Parole) Mentor-Mentee Award of the Year in 2008, and has been recognized as a California State Bar Wiley W. Manuel Pro Bono Services recipient.
