After graduating from the William S. Boyd School of Law, Mr. Kim served as a law clerk for the Honorable Joanna S. Kishner for the Eighth Judicial District Court. Judicial clerkship experience was an invaluable one, as not only did he gain in-depth knowledge on substantive and procedural laws of Nevada, but also observed and learned the essence of effective advocacy.
As a Deputy Attorney General for the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, Mr. Kim defended the interests of the State of Nevada and its people. He defended civil rights litigation filed against the Nevada Department of Corrections. He also provided legal counsel for several state agencies under the Department of Business and Industry, including the Nevada Real Estate Division and Government Employee-Management Relations Board.
