ExperienceMario L. Beltramo, Jr. has been with McCormick Barstow since 1972. During that period of time, he has handled numerous types of litigated matters, but in more recent years has concentrated in the areas of medical malpractice defense and products liability defense. He has tried to verdict between 75 and 85 jury trials.
Honors and Awards Mr. Beltramo is AV rated with Martindale-Hubbell. He was selected for inclusion in the Northern California Super Lawyers list (2009-2010) and was selected as a Top 100 Attorney in 2010 for his primary area of practice in Personal Injury Defense: Medical.
Professional AssociationsMr. Beltramo is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers since 2004, a Fellow and board member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) since 1980, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada. He is a member of the Fellows of the National Conference of Bar Presidents, Northern California Association of Defense Counsel, International Association of Defense Counsel, and California Medical/Legal Committee. Mr. Beltramo has also served as the President of the Fresno County Bar Association (2004).
Publications & LecturesMr. Beltramo has been a speaker on various CEB programs and also on programs given by the Northern California Association of Defense Counsel. He is also a frequent speaker at various hospitals in the San Joaquin Valley, addressing topics pertaining to hospital and physician liability.
Community InvolvementMr. Beltramo is a past Board of Trustees member for the Fresno Metropolitan Museum.
