ExperienceMr. Baxter has been practicing appellate litigation, insurance coverage and insurance bad faith litigation since 1991. Upon graduation from the law school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1990, he joined the firm of McCormick Barstow. Mr. Baxter has represented insurance company clients in insurance coverage disputes and insurance bad faith litigation in state and federal courts in California. Mr. Baxter has been certified by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in Appellate Law. He has extensive experience in appeals before the California Supreme Court, the California Appellate Courts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and California Federal District Courts. Mr. Baxter is chairman of McCormick Barstow’s Appellate Law Group.
Mr. Baxter is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in the State of California and State of Nebraska, U.S. Court of Appeal, Ninth Circuit, and U.S. Supreme Court.
