Experience

Mr. Kelley joined McCormick, Barstow, Sheppard, Wayte & Carruth LLP as an Associate in August, 1993, having obtained partnership status in 1998. In January, 2001, Mr. Kelley relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada to manage our Las Vegas office.

Mr. Kelley has defended both large corporate entities as well as private individuals in general negligence, products liability, intellectual property and premises liability actions. Mr. Kelley has also been involved in Insurance Bad Faith and Water Law litigation. He has participated in numerous arbitration hearings, both binding and non-binding, on behalf of his clients. He has tried cases to verdict in both Federal and State Court in the counties of Clark, Stanislaus, Tulare, Madera and Fresno.

Mr. Kelley is a member of the Nevada State Bar Association, Clark County Bar Association, State Bar of California, Fresno County Bar Association, Central California Adjusters Association, Clark County Bar Association, and Northern California Association of Defense Counsel. In addition, Mr. Kelley is a member of the American Bar Association Litigation Group and, specifically, the Products Liability Committee.

Community Involvement

Mr. Kelley’s primary community involvement centers around his work with the Clark County Pro Bono Program and as counsel to the International Association of Special Investigative Units. Mr. Kelley is actively involved in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
